The simplicity of this ‘Holistic approach’ is derived from the evolving Built and Natural (historical /cultural) fine grain ‘patterns’ of local life and habitation identifying the uniqueness of the Region. The modular design of the proposal allows for a totally flexible approach to the evolving Legacy Stage of this development. Once the Stadium seating, tensile roofing and associated fixtures and fittings have been ‘donated’ then the remaining Stadium ‘skeleton and its surrounding auxiliary structures can be retained, removed or modified to suit the post-world cup requirements.
